Leila Rosen, Aesthetic Realism associate, writes about this upcoming Public Seminar:
People everywhere want to be (and are) individuals—unique, just ourselves. But how we see our individuality, in every aspect of life, including in love, will make us either proud or ashamed, more truly confident or more unsure. That, as the speakers at this important seminar will show, is because we unknowingly have two opposed ideas of what individuality is—one right and one wrong.
You’ll learn about both—and about how to have real individuality—through what consultant Carrie Wilson and associates Harriet Bernstein and Maureen Butler will tell. With vivid examples from their own lives, and from the lives of noted women in history and the arts, they’ll describe the dramatic, unseen fight in all of us about what it means to be an individual.
And they’ll describe how, in Aesthetic Realism consultations, women learn to be their true selves as they see and respect their relation to the whole world and other people.
