Everyone would like to feel at ease, be comfortable. Yet often, the ways we go after being comfortable—and also our idea of what comfort is—are the reason we’re uncomfortable under our own skin, unsure of ourselves, and ashamed.

Are comfort and self-respect opposites that can at last be one in people’s lives? Aesthetic Realism shows the answer is Yes! And at this thrilling seminar, consultants Jeffrey Carduner, Ernest DeFilippis, and Ken Kimmelman will describe how. They’ll show, with examples from their own experience, and from history and the visual arts, that true comfort is the result of a person’s wanting to be fair to the world, to see accurately one’s relation to it.
